Bowls for Kids' Sake 2010
Nine-year-old Sara would like a Big Sister to visit OMSI with. Sara plans to take her new Big Sister swimming, bowling, horseback riding, and fishing.
In addition to the continued need for volunteer mentors, Big Brothers Big Sisters also needs funds to support matches in your community. At Big Brothers Big Sisters, each match is professionally supported from day one and each volunteer is fully screened and trained before matched with a child. After the match is made, professional case managers lend support and assist the volunteer with any issues that may arise. It costs about $1,000 to professionally support a match for one year.
By participating in Bowl For Kids’ Sake, you rally your friends and family to drive the funds needed to support more volunteers, which it turn, allow us to serve more children like Sara.
